Canon Info
Mar. 25th, 2014 03:44 pmAt the risk of being TL;DR with a long winded profile, I'm going to try to keep her canon differences as short hand as possible.
Final Fantasy XIII
She was a member of PSICOM, part of an elite experimental unit known as "SERAPH," Sanctum's attempt at creating supersoldiers with L'Cie abilities. Lightning was given the element of "Thunder" and called "The Seraph of Storms"
The experiments preformed on her where...not pretty. She still has nightmares of those times.
She was close friends with Jihl and Rosch, as they went through the project together. She also made fairly good friends with Cid.
Light was still pretty pissed when Serah told her she wanted to marry Snow. Though when Serah told her she was a L'Cie, Lightning abandoned everything to help her.
Both Lightning and Serah wound up trapped in Anima together.
She did not start out friendly with the group, striking out at them in rage.
Light stayed behind with a crystallized Serah instead of Snow, wound up going with Fang to the Lindblum
Showed up in Palumpolum again, saving Hope and one of her soldiers from the PSICOM onslaught.
Traveled with Fang throughout Palumpolum, developing a close relationship with her.
Sacrificed her freedom to give the others time to escape, it didn't end well for her.
Rejoins the group on the Palemicea, mellows out towards them finally.
Gets separated from the group on Gran Pulse with Hope, winds up poisoned during an ambush, Hope takes care of her.
Fang and the others locate them fast enough, Light recovers just fine.
Her and Fang finally stop ignoring their feelings towards one another
Final Fantasy XIII-2
She assists Serah and Noel a lot more throughout the plot
Her battle with Caius takes place in and out of Valhalla
Goes mildly crazy when the Chaos gets to her, Serah knocks her out of it.
Lightning Returns
Her and Fang rekindle their relationship
Personality Differences/Random Notes
She's got all the sass and sarcasm from LR throughout her entire canon.
Still pretty short fused, has a bit of a better cap on it.
Her real name is actually the first name Square enix gave her. "Averia." her full name happens to be "Averia Claire Farron" hence why she still responds when called "Claire." May or may not start correcting people.
She's genre savvy enough to know that castmates likely won't be from her timeline (At least out of games, in games she'll be a bit on eggshells. Seen enough Paradoxes to know)
